Invitation to celebrate

Hey, how are you doing? I wanted you to know that my family is having a big family reunion soon, and I wanted to invite you to attend. You’re like my best friend and I really want you to be there. It’s going to be at my Father’s place. Oh, I am sure you’ll love Him and I know He’ll love you, too. My entire family has never been all together in one place at the same time. Can you imagine? It will be like eternity. (I John 2:25)

Someone really special will be there. He is like a friend that sticks closer to you than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24) He is really unique, you know! (John 3:16) He is the type of person who will give His life for a friend. (John 15:13) His name is Jesus, and He would love to be friends with you, too.

Jesus was Crucified

He will be hosting this family reunion. (John 14:2-3) He’s doing everything all by Himself. He has paid for everybody! (I John 2:2) If you attend, you will be considered not only as a friend, but as family, too.

Outfits for the saints

It’s all free. You don’t even have to worry about what to wear because Jesus got outfits for all of us to wear. (Revelation 7:9)

Dinner plate

And don’t even talk about food! We will have plenty of food, and the best of wine. (Matthew 26:29, John 2:9-10, Revelation 2:7, 19:9) Fish might be served. However, I have a brother who’s not too crazy about fish. His name is Jonah!

You don’t have to bring anything with you. Just come with love in your heart, soul and mind. (Matthew 22:37) In fact, there will be gifts given out to us, like: power over nations, crowns, and everlasting life. (John 3:16, Revelation 2:10, 26)

If you decide to attend, you must make your reservations as soon as possible. In other words, R.S.V.P. NOW! (2 Corinthians 6:2, Revelation 20:15) Let me give you the directions. Our Host, Jesus, is the Way. (John 14:6) However, here is some more information that will be very useful. When you arrive, don’t concern yourself with the type of person you are now. It won’t matter to Him.

Two kinds of paths

Next you will come to a series of gates. Avoid any wide gates you may see. They are always on a broad road that leads to destruction no matter how attractive they may seem. (Matthew 7:13)

Narrow path leads to Jesus

Instead, take the narrow path. It leads to Life. Not too many people are able to find this road, but it’s there. (Matthew 7:14)

No Luggage

You will have to leave all of your baggage, or the things that you view as valuable, behind. Then you will be able to pass through. (Luke 18:25)

Golden Path

Continue to the next straight gate. Go through that gate and, when the street becomes pure gold like transparent glass, you are in the City. Look for the twelve gates of pearls. (Revelations ‪21:21‬) Then enter into the mansion because you are family, too.

Know that we all love you, and that Jesus loves you the most. I hope and pray you will come HOME and be a big part of my family. Oh, I almost forgot. To R.S.V.P., just say this simple prayer:

“I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He came to this world to die on the Cross to redeem me from my sins. I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent. I accept You, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior, and I thank You for Your gift of eternal life. I am now looking forward to this family reunion! In Your Name I pray, Amen.”
