The Gift

The gift of Jesus

My Christmas is all about Jesus. Christ is in my heart, and He knows the intentions of my heart. When I decided to give my life to Christ, I received the gift of life, eternal life… a gift from God, a gift from Jesus. All of this was set in motion on the first Noel.

On the day Jesus Christ was born, an angel brought us good tidings of great joy. Then a multitude of Heavenly Host announced peace on earth and goodwill towards men! Having great joy will bring about a celebration, not to mention the hope given to us to have peace on earth and goodwill towards men.

Gifts presented to Jesus

Gold, frankincense and myrrh.

The Wise Men journeyed to see Jesus and presented Him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Their offerings were accepted. We do not have to give to Christ what the Wise Men gave. No! We have something much more precious to give to Him, OURSELVES. Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” So, on this Christmas, make it your first Noel with Christ, and eternal life will be your blessing.

God loves us so much that He gave us His only Son. His Son, Jesus, loves us so much that He gave His life for us on the Cross.

Before we knew any better, He knew us. So, as we gather with family and friends, let’s remember what Christmas is truly about… Jesus Christ. We may be old, we may be young, or somewhere in between. It is never too late to surrender our hearts to Him.

If our bottom line in celebrating Christmas is all about Jesus, then the true meaning of Christmas lives in our hearts. If this true meaning lives in our hearts, let’s give this most precious gift of Jesus to someone special this year.
